Model dresser: Barbara Martelo (stylist)
In January she styled an editorial for VOGUE Spain with model Coco Rocha and photographer Arthur Elgort and in March, also for VOGUE Spain, she styled a shoot with model Chanel Iman and photographer Thomas Schenk. Don't know if anyone saw these, but the motion in the editorials was very Richard Avedonesque.
Regardless, Barbara always looks good at the Paris shows. :)

Ruches and Frills Season.
Femininity enjoys wide popularity this season. Ruches and frills are very fashionable this spring and summer 2009. Such designers as Alberta Ferretti, Marc Jacobs, Emanuel Ungaro and Moschino shows us their light dresses with frills and ruches.
The girls in gorgeous silk taffetta dresses with a ruffle that went behind their heads to a crescendo on one shoulder. Some had a bow at the base of the back in true Ungaro style.
Black and white waistcoats, wide double leather belts and sloppy T-shirts over taffeta minis gave this a morning-after, rock chick cool, while flame bright prints on kaftan robes caught low on the hips gave Seventies glamour a South American twist.

Fashion Lessons. 5 The Most Frequent Fashion Mistakes
>
There are a lot of fashion mistakes that women make and here are the most frequent 5 of them. Many women make these mistakes as they try too much hard and want to make sure they are wearing the latest fashion trends regardless of whether they suit them or not. As a matter of fact, anyone can present a stylish fashionable look. There are styles and fashions out there to suit everyone. Here are those mistakes:
1. Your clothes don't fit correctly.
Wearing loose clothes will add weight to anyone. Clothes that are too small accentuate bulges and will make you look comical. Never buy anything thinking that it will be "just right" if you lose weight. Buy for the present and in relation to your clothes size today.
2. Wearing wrinkled clothes.
3. Fashion trends that don't suit you.
Don't try to follow trends that don't suit you. Don't forget about your age and figure and only wear what looks good on you.
There is nothing worse than seeing someone follow fashion for the sake of it. Face reality, if short skirts are in and you haven't got the legs for it then don't do it!
There are plenty of fashionable looks out there and all you need to do is to find the ones that are best for you.
4. Showing bra & panty lines.
Wear proper fitting underclothes under your clothing. If they do fit you correctly and you can still see lines, then your clothing is too tight. If you are dress size is 15 except it and don't try and squeeze into a 12.
5. Wearing skirts that are to short.
Avoid this mistake at any cost! Keep your bra straps properly adjusted so they're not hanging out. If your jeans and trousers are low-rise, your panties should be too. Don't wear a skirt or dress that is too short. Make sure you can sit, walk and dance without exposing underclothes. There's a huge difference between looking sexy and tacky!

Vogue Patterns by Steven Meisel
Vogue Patterns by Steven Meisel - I first saw these gripping pictures in Italia Vogue back in December 2007. These pictures are optical illusions in a their own way and everybody love it! Really cool color palette compositions. The patterns are fashionable and timely as yet.
Models: Lara Stone, Meghan Collison, Kinga Rajzak, Maryna Linchuk, and Hanne-Gaby Odiele
For a fashion photography icon, it’s rather hard to find a printed piece of work you can get from Steven Meisel. Until now the only way to collect his work was Madonna’s 1992 “Sex” book, or ripping pages out of Vogue. The incredible series you see here was shot 2 years ago Italian Vogue and 1 image (shown after the jump) will be made into a puzzle with a limited run of 1,000 for $750 each.
We are truly stunned by how beautiful this series is. Check out all the loveliness! Look at this little explosion from the past ones again and get aesthetic enjoyment.
